Little Pieces of Gold

I have the great pleasure of announcing that my short play Maybe Nina has been chosen to be performed along with six other new pieces of British play writing as part of Little Pieces of Gold at Southwark Playhouse on November 18th.

Here is a brief synopsis of the play, which will be directed by Sarah Ford.

It’s midnight and policemen SPIKE and POPPY are stationed at the city zoo, instructed to shoot down any animals that may pose a threat to public safety. Strange perhaps, but when war breaks out strange things happen. A surprise visit by NINA, who comes to speak with her favourite elephant, excites new perspectives about enemies and allies. A nocturnal urban tale, inspired by real events.

Information about the full programme of seven plays is available on the Southwark Playhouse website. More information about Little Pieces of Gold is available here and on their Facebook page.
